PAPER BONDING GRADES

W1100 is our high versatile packaging, converting and assembly adhesive. It can be used for carton sealing, board laminating, drum labelling and will also bond most papers, foils and even rigid plastics and phenolic foams. W1100 offers high tack and fast set speed with FDA Approval to 175.105.

W1105 is our high performance, high tack packaging grade suitable for automated or manual use. W1105 gives a very fast set rate and will bond many difficult surfaces as encountered in the print finishing industry, such as lacquered and varnished boards. It can be heat re-activated after the bond layer has cured.

W1120 PADDING ADHESIVE offers flexible bond lines at a fast set speed that can be increased with heat if necessary. W1120 tends not to crack or fracture on joints after curing. Lower and higher viscosity versions are available for difficult papers and even greater flexibility.

W1132 is designed for use in the manufacture of polyester strapping. It also has a multitude of other uses such as trim bonding in the furniture industry. It offers excellent high and low temperature resistance coupled with a degree of water resistance. W1132 meets FDA Approval to 175.105, 176.108, and Section XIV of the BGA.

W1138 high performance emulsion offers high tack levels combined with a fast setting rate. It is suitable for automated systems and will bond many difficult substrates such as varnished and foil laminated boards, rigid and flexible foams. W1138 is approved to FDA 175.105, 176.107, 176.108, and to BGA XIV.

W1167 is a remoistenable adhesive for use on envelopes flaps where resistance to high ambient temperature and humidity is required. It exhibits excellent lay flat and gloss, together with a very fast remoistening speed. W1167 performs well on a wide variety of manilla, white and coloured papers, and is suitable for high quality commercial envelopes. W1167 meets FDA Approval under 175.105.

W1168 has been developed as a high tack adhesive for use on medium to high speed window envelope manufacture. It will bond both glassine and synthetic films to a wide variety of papers common in the envelope industry. W1168 meets FDA Approval under 175.105.

EVA BASED

W1213 was developed for bonding metallized polyester, paper, polyethylene laminates, PVC and leather cloths to a wide variety of substrates. It is also used for laminating a wide range of substrates to plaster board in the building industry. W1213 offers high tack, good ageing resistance and plasticiser resistance. It is suitable for manual and automated systems and meets FDA Approval under 175.105.

LATEX BASED

W1314 is our self seal latex adhesive for use in envelope and carton manufacture. The dried film bonds well to itself when slight pressure is applied but will not bond to other surfaces. W1314 can be applied via roller, wheel, stencil and stereo applicators. It also meets FDA Approval under 175.105.

W1323 remoistenable latex adhesive exhibits excellent lay flat properties coupled with an extremely fast remoistening speed. It performs well on a variety of manilla, white and coloured papers and is suitable for high quality and commercial stationary. W1323 meets FDA Approval to 175.105.

DEXTRIN BASED

W1416 is s green coloured adhesive suitable for continuous stationary operations. It offers good lay flat and non wrinkling properties and provides good adhesion to a wide variety of simple paper and board. W1416 is slow setting and will not skin or thicken up during use. It can be applied by wheel, roller, extruder or spray applicator and meets FDA Approval under CFR Section 175.105.

SYNTHETIC BASED

W1505 is a high tack emulsion packaging adhesive for use on automatic equipment. It offers a very fast set rate and bonds to a wide range of difficult surfaces such as varnished and foil laminated boards, plastics and rigid foams. W1505 meets FDA Approval to 175.105.

W1525 standard glass labelling adhesive offers good adhesion of labels to glass with FDA Approval to 275.105.

W1580 synthetic emulsion bonds posters to aluminium bill boards. It is easy to apply and offers easy removal. It is suitable for internal and external use.

ACRYLIC BASED

W1610 is a water based acrylic adhesive which remains permanently tacky giving high levels of cohesive strength. It has been developed for bonding synthetic foams and insulation materials to wood and metal facings. W1610 will bond paper, card, textiles and some plastics. It has high rates of coverage and a multitude of uses.

CASEIN BASED

W1800 labelling adhesive is used on high speed labelling equipment suitable for labelling beers, wines, spirits and foods. It will bond a wide variety of paper labels and aluminium foils. Due to the high level of initial tack, very low coat weights can be achieved. W1800 meets FDA Approval to 175.105.
