High Performance Bonding Tape

6142 – High Performance Bonding Tape is a translucent pressure sensitive adhesive exhibiting very high levels of adhesion and cohesion. Unlike many other rubber resin toffee tapes, 6142 is solvent free and has excellent UV resistance coupled with high peel strength and heat resistance. 6142 is easy to use with a finger-lift liner offering an instant high bond to most common materials from plastic, ceramics, metals, wood and glass.

Typical Uses
6142 – HPBT will bond to most common substrates including difficult to bond materials such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. 6142 can be used for fixing signs to most surfaces* without the need for drilling and screws. 6142 can also be used for lap jointing plastics and damp proofing materials, joining and sealing thin gauge aluminium skins in caravan production as well as fixing roof skins in commercial trailers, bonding kick plates, decorative trims. Use 6142 for simply making surfaces or products self adhesive and thousands of other uses.
