6018 – Perm/Peel Acrylic Tape
Description
6018 is a double-sided acrylic polyester with a removable adhesive on the closed side of the tape to aid removal of objects that need to be temporary held in place.
6025 – Printed “NEC Approved” Carpet Tape
Description
A double-sided green polythene tape printed with “N.E.C APPROVED” coated with an emulsion acrylic adhesive on the open side and a hot melt adhesive on the faced side. The open side can be easily removed without leaving any residue.
Applications
Used for removing temporary carpets and specially designed for exhibition applications and been N.E.C approved. Retaining masking paper or polythene protection. Window and door frames in the building industry.
6053 - Double Sided Cloth Tape.
Description
A double sided, cotton cloth tape with white synthetic rubber adhesive and a bisilconised paper liner with high tack and good adhesion.
Applications
Used for holding carpets and flexible floor coverings, bounding felts and shoe re-inforcers and possible printing plate mounting.
6062 – High Tack PVC Tape
Description
This double-sided tape consists of a PVC film carrier, layer on both sides with a modified acrylic adhesive. It has a very good resistance against UV radiation, extreme temperature, chemicals, solvents, humidity and plasticizer migration. It’s highly shear resistance adhesive has an excellent durability when attached to metal, varnish and high energy surfaces. It has good adhesive durability when attached to low energy surfaces. Because of its high adhesive mass it is also appropriate for rough or structured surfaces. This adhesive is lined with a double sided silicone paper.
Applications
Used for the secure attachment of truck and car mirrors in plastic housings. Used as an adhesive medium for signs as well for extruded synthetic profiles, hemming banners and for durable installation in the furniture industry. Used for the attachment of rims, bars and laminates to a variety if surfaces and cable trunking. For the fixing of covers and handles in the audio, household appliance and electrical industry. With expert application resistant to most oils, grease, fuels, aliphatic solvents, weak acids, salts and alkalis.
6072 - Product: Double Sided Polyester Tape
Description:
This is a double sided mounting tape with a very high tack, high shear solvent acrylic adhesive, with a polyester carrier. The tape has excellent all round performance. The adhesive is a cross linked solvent acrylic, with high tack, very good cohesive strength, and good initial and ultimate bond. The adhesive has very good U.V and all weather performance and is plasticizer resistant. The liner protecting this tape is a MOPP (mono – orientated polypropylene) the colour is a light translucent red.
Application:
Fixing plastic and wooden mouldings, bonding and laminating flexible and rigid materials, fixing point of display materials, print finishing and general applications where a strong, thin flexible tape with high performance is required.
6180 – High Performance Splicing Tape
Description
A polyester film coated on both sides with an extremely aggressive high performance acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive system. Other outstanding features are high tack, high adhesion, high shear strength and excellent low and elevated temperature performance. Superior moisture resistance in high humidity.
Applications
A high performance splicing tape used in the manufacture of paper, plastics, and other continuous web processes. Especially suitable in the manufacture of corrugated paper. Adheres well to both kraft and coated papers. An excellent mounting and laminating system for use with dissimilar metals, foams, foils and nameplates. Thickness conformability is excellent for most irregular and mismatched surfaces.
6321 - Ultra High Tack Polyester Tape
Description
A hand-tearable polyester film heavily coated on both sides an ultra high peel acrylic adhesive system. The heavily adhesive deposition allows for superior bonding and conformability to irregular as well flat surfaces. The special acrylic adhesive bonds well to most substrates including most low surface energy plastics. Excellent U.V. and heat resistance.
Applications
For bonding irregular surfaces, bonding to plastics and metal profile extrusions, bonding of decorative trim; also used as a universal all-purpose double coated tape. Used extensively for seaming vinyl banners.
